Budder is one of the many consistencies of marijuana concentrates. Also, it’s Identifiable by its malleable texture that looks and feels like cake frosting. It emerged onto the scene in the mid-’90s and was created by a Canadian concentrate maker known as BudderKing. In 2003, BudderKing approached the founder of Vancouver’s Da Kine Smoke and Beverage Shop with the extract. He then began distributing samples from Da Kine called “Butter Hoots.” Cannabis Culture shared the technique in 2005.
